Up

Our Piano School teaching techniques include the following steps:

1. Initial Assessment

During initial consultation or first interview, our staff would make every effort to assess the current level of the potential candidates and his/her music interests.  This is usually done through questions on past music and piano studies, career goals, testing on music reading, and practice playing.

2. Choose an appropriate study level according to the clear objective

After the assessment, our staff will match the candidates' personal interest, proficiency level, and career objectives with that of one of our piano teachers.  The teacher would work with the candidate to choose an appropriate study program and finalize the time commitment, course selection, and payment options.

3. Periodic check on progress

Our staff would periodically check in on the progress of the candidates, and make sure that both the candidate and teacher are well communicated, and the initial objectives are well met.

4. Continuing the education

Upon finishing a course program, candidate has the option to either continue with the current teacher or switch to another teacher upon his/her new proficiency level and interests.
